Mission Statement.
The Leigh Park Youth & Community Support Group is an umbrella support group which has an ongoing commitment to provide high quality support, including, funding, social, educational and recreational programmes, training, guidance and help to create opportunities and projects where appropriate, for ‘all’ residents of the Westbury and surrounding community area.
The Leigh Park Youth & Community Support Group is a 'needs and aspirations led - vision driven' community support group that believes in active participation, inclusion and good citizenship.
Amongst its aims are the encouragement of active engagement, participation and a sense of community amongst all members, regardless of race, religion, background, circumstances or ability, and to promote personal growth and a healthy attitude for life, in which the principles of equal opportunities, sharing, respect and giving are actively pursued. It considers a wide range of 'skills work, activity and activities' to be of the utmost importance to the development and progression of individual and life skills, which includes teamwork and independent thinking
